Solid Construction.  The Hooke Road Overland Series Versatile Roof Rack's load cross bars feature a 3.2" x 0.8" aluminum extrusion and are not only lightweight but also resilient. To enhance the longevity of the steel components, the side panels, front, and rear panels are constructed from high-tensile 13-gauge (3/32 inch) steel. These steel elements undergo a dual finishing process, including a textured black powder coat and a premium E-coating process, ensuring resistance against corrosion and the elements. The crossbars, contributing to both form and function, apply a textured black powder coat finish, providing a sleek aesthetic while maintaining durability. 

Moderate Installation with Drilling. While the rooftop cargo carrier enhances the vehicle's functionality and appearance, its installation balances simplicity and moderate complexity. The moderate bolt-on installation requires some drilling. First, all its components are assembled, then the holes are drilled according to the included instructions, and finally, the mounting brackets are connected to the roof rack.
