The Discoverer bumper is a great buy if you are in the market for a low profile cheap bumper for a Ram 1500 4th Gen. It is also lightweight. I had a 190lb steel bumper on and removed it to put this one on. 70lbs!!! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the fit is not perfect and the paint was missing in spots when I pulled it out of the box. There was an obvious grinder mark on the face of the bumper. But it’s cheap and I plan to modify it with a weld on bull bar and add some light pockets.
If you’re looking for something cheap with decent fit and finish, or a mostly ready bumper to customize, this is the one!
Bumper came in and had scratches and powder coat was beat up. Wish it had better instructions on how to install the light bar. Tried installing led bar and I couldn't even fit a allen wrench in to tighten. Other then that bumper was easy to put together and put on the vehicle. For the money I would buy another one.
